Monthly CLE on Zoom
First Thursday of the month · 1 CLE hour
One-hour sessions held the first Thursday of each month, except July and August. Currently free to attend—your state may still require its own CLE fee.
Accredited continuing legal education that ties literature, history, and the humanities to the everyday practice—and ethics—of law.

“A new way to view the practice of law.”
Warwick, RI
Reforming and strengthening legal education through a study of the humanities.
The Model Rules of Professional Conduct challenge us directly: “As a member of a learned profession, a lawyer should cultivate knowledge of the law beyond its use for clients, employ that knowledge in reform of the law and work to strengthen legal education.” We know no better instruction in the law “beyond its use to clients” than to see how it lives in creative writing.

November 19, 2026 · 6-hour program
Approved in NC and PA for 6 hours. North Carolina has approved the hours for the professional responsibility / ethics requirement.
This program was a refreshing change from the standard, technical CLE course, in that it gave us a new way to view the practice of law.
